Women, according to science, wake up much grumpier than men.

Reason -- she's not getting enough sleep.

Researchers at Duke found that women suffer more on less sleep. More depression, more anger, and more hostility. Women need 20 more minutes of sleep than men to rest a brain that is busy multi-tasking most of the day. The more brain you use, the more sleep you need.

So are naps the answer? Yes, but they should either be 25 minutes, or 90 minutes long. Any other length will make her feel worse after waking up.
