Outside of the station, I enjoy spending time with my family making memories that will last a lifetime. You might find us on the infield at a Nascar race or Willowrun airshow, at a charity walk, horsebackriding or spending the day at a Metropark. We’re huge animal lovers and readily adopt elderly pets to love and spoil.

Wild Winter African Adventure This Weekend
at the Detroit Zoo, February 9th and 10th
There's plenty to see at the zoo during the winter weather!
Beat the winter blues this season during our Wild Winter Weekends at the Detroit Zoo. Wild Winter is a unique, fun way to experience the magic of the Zoo in winter. Enjoy your favorite habitats indoors and out along with special activities, including children’s music, zookeeper talks, crafts and much more. Wild Winter festivities will be on select weekends in February and March, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
February - Wild Winter African Adventure
Celebrate African American History Month on February 9 and 10, 2013 at Wild Winter African Adventure with an African drum lesson and listen to stories told by Kenyan naturalist and Detroit Zoo Education Specialist David Gakure. Enjoy live entertainment, arts and crafts, games and educational experiences. All activities are free with Zoo admission and take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Ford Education Center.
